Recipe of the Week: Spicy Glazed Pork Belly

We are glad to bring you a new recipe for your family and friends. Pork belly has become one of the most common meats found in Asian cuisine. Fried pork belly is known for the crispiness and juiciness. We added red chili flakes to add a spicy kick to an already flavorful glaze with ABC Sweet Soy. This dish can be served over rice for any occasion.

Ingredients:
Dry Rub
3 Garlic Cloves (minced)
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp salt
1 piece of Ginger (minced)
Glaze:
1 piece of ginger (minced)
1 tsp lemongrass paste
1 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
1 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of ABC Sweet Soy
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Mix all dry rub ingredient together in a bowl and mix well.
2. Place the pork belly on baking pan and rub all over the pork belly Place in the oven for 90 mins at 205 degrees Fahrenheit
3. While the pork belly cooks in the over, create the glaze
4. Place all dry rub ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
5. Pull the pork belly out of the oven and let it rest.
6. Cut the pork belly into tiny cubes
7. Add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to a hot pan
8. Add cooked pork belly pieces and fry until they are golden brown.
9. Add glaze to the pan
10. Mix well and let the pork cook in the glaze
11. Serve over rice and enjoy!!!
